Vidzone PS3 service goes live

by The-Twitching-Peanut Email

What is Vidzone

Vidzone is a VOD service operated by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and distributed by the Vidzone.tv website as well as the Playstation Network.

Vidzone

Service

Vidzone allows the user to stream music videos from labels including Sony BMG and EMI in HD directly to either the PC, PS3 or to their PSP.

Cost

The service itself is free to use as it is supported by Ads but in order to download mobile content (.mp3 or video) is probably where the company generates its real revenue.

The user can also create playlists of tracks so that they may quickly view the favourite videos, I think that this is going to be a great feature for future parties.

How to activate the built in Spell check in Firefox.

by The-Twitching-Peanut Email

As most of you know, Firefox is one of, nee the best browser on the market and it purports to come with a spell checker; however I have never seen it running.

So, I did a quick search on Mr Google and found that instead of downloading a completely separate spell checking add-on, you can activate the built-in one with some simple editing of the config file.

Some of the best TV ads made.

When it comes to TV advertising the golden rule generally is the: If it's got a catchy tune, strange or offends then the ad is going to work.

The same can be said for the following two ads, both are strange, one has a catchy tune and both are great to watch over and over again.

Firstly, the Cadbury's Chocolate ad:

Secondly, the Compare the Meerkat.com:

And lastly a trip into yesteryear, I LIKE ARMADILLOS! Smooth on the inside crunchy on the outside:

Seven Pounds

When it comes to films that you have to see before you die I bet that somewhere on the list there will be films like:

  1. The Shawshank Redemption
  2. The Godfather
  3. A Night at the Opera
  4. Star Wars
  5. Pulp Fiction

Now these are all well and good but the only two from that list that I have seen is: A night at the Opera and of course Star Wars, but I would like to add another film to the list.

One which doesn't show any gratuitous violence, sordid sex or an over-zealous use of the f-word (or any other word come to that).

That film is Will Smith's new epic Seven Pounds.

Will Smith and Rosario Dawson

A brief synopsis of the story follows, so if you plan on seeing it and don't what to know anything about the story look away.
